2008 In Review : Autism Awareness Top Fuel Jr. Dragster

This was a great season, and one of the best finishes in our six years of racing. In June of 2008 we rolled out our new look, the one of a kind "Autism Awareness Top Fuel Jr Dragster body" and dedicated it to Josh and all the families out there living with Autism. From blowing our engine while in the points lead (missed 3 points races because of that). To losing our main sponsor just two weeks before the big national event in Denver. To Landing a God sent primary sponsor (GEE TEE INC. of New Orleans) just one week before going to Denver, to winning and going rounds in Denver, to coming up just a few rounds short of the 2008 championship... this has been a wild year!
Beka finished a very close 2nd in the 2008 championship points race! It all came down to the last race of the year and Beka was only down by 20 points. We needed to go rounds but came up a little short when we lost in the quarter-finals. "I'll take the runner-up spot this year, but watch out for us next YEAR!"- Beka!
