***How to Play***
Pick a driver of your choice for each class listed. The farther your "picks" go in eliminations the more points you will earn. You will earn points in each class, and the total points of all classes will determine the final points total. In case of a tie, the tiebreaker will determine the winner, so be sure to make your tie-breaker selection.

***Points:***
7 pts. Winner
5 pts. Runner-up
3 pts Semi-finalists
2 pts. 2nd round losers
1 pt. 1st round losers
5 bonus pts. -- overall event winner

2008 SNYDER MOTORSPORTS PICK THE PROS points will be available in the pinned thread at the top of this forum as soon as tabulated after the race. It is the responsibility of the individual player to ensure that their points total is correct after each contest. If you find an error with your total, notify Gina @ gina@jrdrags.com within 5 days after points are posted.

***Tie Breaker:***
The tie-breaker will be Top Speed of the meet in a class chosen by JRDrags.com for that event. The poster closest to the actual Top Speed without going over will be used as the first tie-breaker. If everyone goes over the actual Top Speed (breaks out), then the tie breaker will be determined by the player going over by the least. Further ties will be broken as detailed on the 2008 Rules page, linked below.

***Prizes***

Our 2008 Pick the Pros Champion will receive a SNYDER ELIMINATOR PRIMARY CLUTCH (retail value $550). The SE Clutch System features larger diameter overdrive shieves and new shieve angles for increased performance and better reaction times. It also has hardened rollers and custom arms.

Other prizes!
JRDrags.com will provide gift certificates for the 2008 Runner-Up (value $100) and third-place finisher (value $50) for use at a JRDrags.com sponsor of his/her choice. We aren't awarding weekly prizes this year, but if you win you do get the bragging rights and the bonus points.

***General Stuff***
Only one contest entry per member per event. Please, NO EDITING -- if you must change a pick, REPOST! Remember when making your pics to use the FULL name of the driver. (We cannot accept P/S - Johnson or F/C - Pendergon, for example. Correct pick would be P/S - Kurt OR Warren Johnson, etc.) Picking only the last name in these cases will result in ZERO points awarded.
