Lots of race teams are traveling to Firebird this coming weekend. Lori has benn receiving RSVPs for the Saturday night dinner. So far, over 150 people will be attending the dinner. Don't forget to make your reservations for the free dinner! If you don't RSVP, you'll have to pay at the door. Check out their flyer on jrdrgs.com under this title: Div 7 Race & Teen Safe Weekend at Firebird - AZ

We are just finishing up those last minute details before you all arrive at Firebird !! As stated above PLEASE RSVP to me by wednesday Oct 15th-5PM as that is my deadline for getting the head-count to the catering folks !! The banquet should be fun/casual... we have two guest speakers and all of saturday's event awards will be given out.

Looking forward to an AWESOME weekend of fun & racing !!

we will be on our way Friday from California on Highway 10. Is There any easy way around Phoenix. Or should we just stay on the 10? Late afternoon rush hour.
Thanks Todd

Stay on the 10 is my suggestion... Phoenix has done a great job of building a lot of sub-highways for the locals to commute on, leaving I-10 fairly clear for what we will be using it for. Usually its someone that forgets how to drive that causes any incidents on the Interstate, causing things to slow down.

Planning to come up for Sunday Divisional only (prior saturday commitments)... Anyone know when tech will open for Sunday?

Yes, I10 would be your best bet...just be patient (pretty funny me telling you Californian's about "being patient" on the Interstate... LOL)

Tech will be open 8am, possibly earlier if we can convince the officials to do so, but plan on 8am.
Anyone has any troubles/accidents in the phoenix area... please call and let us know how we can help... we have resources all across the valley. Everyone travel safely.

Travel to Firebird raceway in Chandler.,AZ. As you are going E/B on the 10 in Arizona take the I-17 S/B South around Phoenix which will miss all the downtown and airport traffic. The I -17 will come back out to the S/B 10 and put you into Chandler, AZ.

Burgundy will not be there this weekend as she has the Cruzin for wishes car show Saturday in Rancho Santa Margarita and then Sunday walk in the C.H.O.C. Walk
( Children's Hospital of Orange County) charity walk at Disneyland.
